Hey everyone!
I've been working on lots of icons from various TV shows over the past few weeks (and gathering some new textures/caps/fonts) and I will be posting them in the next few days :)

Hey all!!
So I woke up this morning hoping to leave early for results, but well, it didn't happen. I fell back asleep and ended up getting picked up and like 10am.
Anyhoo, I came online to check UCAS Track - and voila - "Congratulations! Your place at The Manchester Metropolitan University (M40) to study Chemistry/Forensic Science (FF14) has been confirmed."
However, this was my insurance, so I was like 'OK, I haven't got a C in Chemistry, never mind'
Previously I thought that I needed 280 UCAS points to get in on both of my firm and insurance choices, which meant me getting a Distinction-Merit (DM) in Forensics, but because it's all coursework, I already knew that I had DD in Forensics.
But, when I looked on my required points, it said that I only needed 200 points! I was like 'OMFG - I've been stressing forever about going to Uni and if I'd have looked at it properly, I'd have known that I was in since I left college!!'

I am an only child and it has definitely made me a lot more independent than I think most people with siblings are. Usually when people have brothers or sisters, they always have someone there with them if they go on family days out etc but because its never been like that, I'm able to go places and do things now on my own. I'm also able to talk to people pretty easily that I don't really know, which I think really helps when going anywhere new like college or starting a new job. Also, I think I have a really close relationship with my Mum because all the attention was always on me :)

Hey all!
I felt like writing about my thoughts for today and what I've been up to.
I went shopping before with the Mother to exchange some clothes and for a general nosey around!
I bought a rather lovely jacket last week but it looked a bit big on me so I took that back (and was not happy because I had to wait in a massive queue) and then just had a look around. I wasn't impressed because I saw some jeans that I really wanted to buy and couldn't coz I'm saving all my money for tomorrow night which I will tell you about shortly.
About halfway round the shops I remembered that I was saving some of my money to get myself a new bag for Uni, and I hadn't coz everything I have left is going on tomorrow, but my Mum was nice and lent me £20 coz I found a really nice one that I loved! Get in :)
I also bought myself a Sudoku book because my Mum always tells me off for stealing the daily paper and doing the Sudoku - so I made her buy me a book! 2-0 me :)
And then I came home and went to work, oh the joy. Was all good though, just me and my friend stressing on tomorrow - if there's any A-Level students in the UK reading this then you'll know that it's RESULTS DAY! Arrrggghhh. Proper shitting my pants coz I really really wanna go to Uni but I think I've done pretty bad in my exam to get in. Bad times :(
But, on another level I am looking forward to tomorrow because there's a big UV party on in Manchester for all students and DJ Ironik is there performing and it's only £5 to get in which is really good coz its really like a mini gig :)
So I'll either be celebrating and getting drunk or drowning my sorrows, but I'll be out of my face either way hopefully!!
And Friday night is my friends 18th which hopefully will be good, but I think some of the people going I won't know that well so I imagine it'll be a bit awkward but never mind.
I'm off to bed now though coz I have to be up early to get to college :(

A lil update

Hey all :)
Hope everyone is OK!
I'm still working on some icons to get posted, TBH I'd rather do one major batch than keep posting like 6 at a time (expect various Grey's, PP, Kate Wash in general, LOST and maybe a few from Big Bang Theory if I can find some good screencaps)!
I've been trying to get some of my userpics updated as well because some of them were pretty god damn old.
I'm off to do some shopping now, so I shall see what I can come up with when I return XD

Should some parts of celebrities' lives be off-limits to the public, or is giving up privacy a fair price for being famous?

I think that parts of most celebs lives are off limits to the public. Besides the people with a reality TV show, most celebs do have a life away from the cameras etc and I'm sure like most people, they have things about them that only their close friends know about. However, I think it's horrible that some people can't even put gas in their cars or go out to a restaurant and have a quiet meal without the paps showing up to ruin it.

I have not been on LiveJournal (or at least posted anything) for like a year, so I think its time I started again! Also, I haven't made any icons for about the same time, and I used to always love entering icon challenges etc on here for CSI Miami - so I think I'm gonna start again!
Recently I have discovered the amazingly amazing show that is 'Grey's Anatomy' and in particular, the even more amazingly amazing Kate Walsh. I am now not only the biggest Greys fan, but also the biggest Kate fan (and therefore an even bigger Private Practice fan!)
To commemorate this, and my return, I am going to make a huge batch of icons based on my love for Greys and Kate (as well as Zac Efron - just because.)
Expect them soon :)

Results & Jeremy Kyle

Woooo!! Good day today! XD

Got up early to get to school for results! XD I got there at like 9.15am and had to wait, but then once I got the envelope, I didn't want to open it! XD It was really stupid! XD Did really well, got 6 A's, 6 B's and a C! XD Really pleased with them! XD

Got home and tried to get a little bit of sleep (which ended up me coming on the computer and watching TV!) coz I went to bed alte and got up early!

Waited for the new cooker to come to our house.. but it was worth the wait coz its brill!! It's proper posh and Black! XD It makes me want to cook more now, coz I have a new kitchen as well XD

Then, got the train to town, and got the tram to Granada to go see Jeremy Kyle! XD

Didn't have to wait too long, and got in there straight away! It was really funny with Jeremy joking with the crew and the show was even better!! There was a woman who punched her boyfriend on there, DNA results, and 2 lie detector results with a woman who swore blind she hadn't cheated and made it seem like her boyfriend was paranoid - yet she turned out to be the liar!!! XD And some other dude who had webcam fun with other girls, while his pregnant girlfriend was in hospital! :O

Gotta wait a while before it aired but overall, it was a really really good day! I feel like making some icons, so i'm gonna do that, and then go to bed!

Results Day (23rd Aug)

This event is nearly upon us! XD

I'm looking forward to it, mainly for the results/yearbooks! After all, I did help in the making process, so lets hope the end result is what we want!

I'm also looking forward to the 23rd coz I might be getting my haircut that day, after I have my results, before heading for the Granada Studios for my next celeb spot....

I'm going to the late filming so hopefully I can see him leaving the studios and get a picture with him! Yay!! XD

I'm now off to do some 'me' spotting on the X Factor coz I went to one audition as support, and filmed a bit of the Xtra Factor that was on last nights show! XD
